Meditation

Twins Hats & Haruhi
Buddhism is an interesting belief system, some call it a religion, others a philosophy and some just see it as a sprituality. One of it's core beliefs concentrait on meditation. You just sit there and do nothing. Well not nothing. You observe your thoughts and you learn things about the universe throught silence.

I wouldn't know. It's hard for me to sit and do somthing, so it's even harder to sit and passivly observe the thoughts in my head. I'm going to try though. Wish me luck..

Apperently an effing tornado touched down in Dundalk and we didn't find out till today. It was on tuesday and a ton of places got damaged. WTF, since when does MD get hit by tornados?

IDK why I'm more angre that I didn't know, than the fact there was a tornado like 2 seconds from my house. Hohoho.

I'm finally done with high school. I've got my shiny diploma and my certificate that says I've completed my vocal magnet( I think I wanted this one the most, 4 years of singing can be quiet tedious). I'm feeling a bit discombobulated though, what does one do when the most constant thing for the last 12 years become not so constant anymore? College isn't going to happen till next year  (taking a year off FTW), and I still haven't found a job(Wet Seal is accepting applications though). But I think I'll manage, I plan on having an extensive fitness routine(applying my finger muscles to the computer keys and training my biceps to lift veggie burgers quickly and effectively) and maybe a better diet(lol). So basiclly it'll be the same ol' for the summer of '09.

But I don't know, the summer's just started, who knows what will happen.

Every time I get close, I get so far away.

And the Wild (job) Hunt Begins!

Twins Hats & Haruhi
Well, starts up again anyway. Working at the Hotel wasn't so bad, as long as the managers weren't there, but them bitches are crazy if they think they can do me however. Breanna worked there for almost a year and was way to stressed to be healthy. The managers treat people like they don't have things and loyalties outside the job, and sadly the people that work there don't have much of a choice, since for some it's a career and for others it's the reason they aren't on the streets. But if that spanish clown wants to tell that I don't know anything and needs more training(Which directly apposes the words of everyone I've worked with), and that I need to work more so her lazy ass won't need to be at the front desk so much and she can go in the back and talk and aim like the cupacabra, then that's their problem.

But now I have to try to find another job if I want to go to Japan next year. Gah, here it goes again.

Fake Nails

Twins Hats & Haruhi
I hate Fake nails.

I don't know how people get them done every week, they usually look tacky, too much design on one hand, or out of place, pink stylized nails on girls that wear track suits and have flat fried hair. It drives me crazy how blunt they are. It's impossible to scratch an itch with those stupid round tips, but maybe they just take some time and patience to get use to. I don't have patience. So I've been systematically riping them off since I got the purple tipped acrylic menace put on for prom. Well I don't hate them entirely, I love that the little chinese(he really was chinese) man used glow in the dark polish for the main part. It was a very pleasant surprise when I got into the car to see my nails turn green.

But other than that, I don't think I'll get them done again anytime soon. They look  terrible after they come off, erring to the side of sad, and a bit like they got attack with a miniature chainsaw. Maybe I'm dramatically biased, I don't have much energy or resources to be girlly, even though I think it would be fun. Who doesn't like dressing up? I used to be super tomboyish when I was a kid, but before high school, my sister told me she wasn't going to have me look like that and come to the same school as her, so I then decided that maybe dressing in what ever clothes my mother gave me wasn't such a good idea. Even if I'm still not a fashionista, at least I don't look retarded (well at least I don't think I do).
